Established in May 2013, Pegasus International Preschool Singapore (PIPS) was founded with the goal of building holistic youth through a conducive, interactive learning environment. Following a Reggio Emilia inquiry-based curriculum, we provide the ideal conditions and methods to bring out children's creativity, interests and self-confidence — through hands-on projects, interactive classroom activities and extensive outdoor games.
Location & environment
Located in Novena, opposite KK Women's and Children's Hospital, Pegasus is ideally placed in the central region of Singapore, close to the Central Area. It's a very convenient location for working parents — drop your child off, head to work and still be near for easy check-in — and equally convenient for non-working parents running errands nearby.
Our facilities are designed with eye-catching decorations meant to inspire curiosity and discovery. The extensive classrooms are an enjoyable place where children from various cultural backgrounds learn and play, and the open-concept grounds keep your child fit, active and eager to learn.
Our great outdoors
We make the most of our spacious grounds outside the classrooms. The outdoors is a wonderful place for preschoolers to master emerging physical skills — running, leaping and jumping — and the most appropriate place to develop hand-eye coordination through ball handling, throwing and catching.
Carrying out activities like drawing, reading and cooking outdoors is highly beneficial too. Our spacious outdoor play areas keep children in touch with nature, so they're both happy and healthy.

Our philosophy is always to make learning more than a tedious chore. We want children to be driven by their interests to develop their eagerness to learn. With the guidance of teachers and parents — prompted by the environment and activities — children learn to ask questions and discover the answers, while having fun and creating good memories.

Our goal is not just to teach basic learning, but to develop children's physical, emotional, cognitive and social skills altogether — through collaborative work with parents, community and teachers.
We initiate the learning process by obtaining information through the senses — sight, touch, smell, sound and taste. Prompted by inquiry, young children engage in hands-on experiences and discussions, inculcating valuable learning dispositions that become part of their lives.
